I Gathering Logs vengono forniti ai Disciples of the Land per monitorare i progressi nella raccolta di vari oggetti. I gatherers riceveranno un piccolo bonus quando raccolgono un nuovo oggetto per la prima volta e, per quanto non ci siano bonus diretti per il completamento dei vari log, la raccolta di una gran varietà di oggetti sbloccherà obiettivi con ricompense.

Il mining prevede che il vostro personaggio interagisca con i Mineral Deposits, contrassegnati con un’icona gialla sulla vostra mappa. L’abilità Prospect vi aiuterà ad individuare i nodi di raccolta, assieme a Lay of the Land, che vi segnalerà con un’icona lampeggiante sulla mappa il nodo più prossimo. In questa sezione troverete informazioni utili (sotto forma di tabelle) circa tutti gli oggetti che compongono il Mining Log del Miner in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. Le varie tabelle, suddivise in base al livello del nodo, mettono in luce le peculiarità di ogni singolo oggetto e mostrano per ognuno di essi le seguenti caratteristiche:

• Icona: mostra l’icona di gioco associata all’oggetto nel nodo.

• Nome: visualizza il nome dell’oggetto che si può raccogliere; facendo clic sul nome dell’oggetto è possibile aprire una scheda approfondita (sul sito Gamerescape.com) che enuncia le coordinate e il luogo esatto in cui è possibile raccoglierlo, assieme a tutti gli altri possibili metodi di acquisizione.

• Livello: indica il livello dell’oggetto esaminato.

• Descrizione in game: Mostra l’esatta descrizione che compare in game quando si esamina l’oggetto in questione (talvolta seguita da alcune annotazioni).

	Sunrise Tellin	17	A tiny bivalve mollusk commonly harvested on the Pearl. Its pink shells are prized by goldsmiths who craft them into beautiful jewelry.
	Grade 2 Skybuilders’ Ore	20	Something of a mixed bag of metallic elements, but as everyone knows, smithies love a good surprise. Just not when they’re swinging a hammer dangerously close to their fingers.Used in level 20 crafting recipes.
	Grade 3 Skybuilders’ Ore	20	The first miner to discover this particular variety described it as “extra-ore-dinary” and was met with a chorus of groans from her peers.Used in level 20 crafting recipes.
	Grade 3 Skybuilders’ Rock Salt	40	This particular type of salt is for sprinkling on rocks to make them taste better, hence the name “rock salt.”Used in level 40 crafting recipes.
	Grade 3 Skybuilders’ Titanium Ore	40	Unlike some other ores requested by the skybuilders, they actually deigned to give the name of the type of metal they would like in this case, rather than simply “some ore.”Used in level 40 crafting recipes.

	Light Kidney Ore	142	A reddish ore containing large quantities of iron. Its wide availability makes it optimal for smelting in locations where purer forms of iron ore are difficult to procure, such as militia forges. This particular type of kidney ore is far more porous than the common variety, making it much easier to transport.
	Hardsilver Ore	142	A decent-sized piece of rock containing the rare alchemic metal hardsilver.
	Ice Stalagmite	145	Ice stalactites hold on tight to the ceiling of a cave. This is not an ice stalactite.
	Raw Carnelian	145	An uncut, unpolished stone containing what appears to be carnelian.
	Raw Citrine	148	An uncut, unpolished stone containing what appears to be citrine.
	Aurum Regis Sand	148	Violet sand containing tiny grains of aurum regis.
	Cuprite	148	Though its appearance suggests it is a precious gem, this ore is actually a rare form of red translucent copper.

	Adamantite Ore	148	A decent-sized piece of rock containing the rare metal adamantite.
	Grade 3 Skybuilders’ Diadem Iron Ore	150	Though similar substances exist in other regions, the Diadem variety tends to be more highly coveted. This may simply be due to its scarcity rather than any intrinsic properties, as by and large, the more difficult something is to obtain, the more people want it.
	Starcrack Sand	150	A metallic sand which simpleminded smallfolk believe contains pieces of the very comet Rhalgr tore from the heavens.
	Shishu Koban	150	This oblong gold coin once saw heavy circulation throughout Hingashi and the eastern provinces of Othard.
	Raw Chrysolite	150	An uncut, unpolished stone containing what appears to be chrysolite.
	Grade 3 Skybuilders’ Spring Water	150	The name may indicate that there are very specific criteria to pass muster with the skybuilders, but the taste and smell are the same as almost any other type of water. That is to say: it tastes of nothing and smells of nothing.
	Wyrm Obsidian	150	Obsidian of legendary quality. Said to have been formed in the flames of a wyrm’s breath and possess magical qualities.
	Grade 3 Skybuilders’ Alumen	150	In recent years, there have been calls to abandon the use of “pinches” as a unit of measurement for powders. 	Rainbow Pigment	160	Extracted from natural sources, this colorful powder can be prepared to create an equally colorful dye.

	Grade 2 Skybuilders’ Spring Water	290	Despite the potentially misleading name, it can also be collected in summer and autumn. Winter, however, is generally out of the question, for obvious reasons.Used in level 70 crafting recipes.

	Megafauna Trace	415	The possibility cannot be denied: something massive this way came.
	Grade 3 Skybuilders’ Aurum Regis Ore	430	“Kingly” is not an adjective that is often applied to metals of any sort, though in the case of aurum regis, it seems perfectly fitting, for some reason.Used in level 80 crafting recipes.
