La descrizione sottostante illustra le Levequest del Botanist. Seppure possa dirsi interessante esplorare Eorzea alla ricerca di nodi di raccolta per completare il relativo Gathering Log, le levequest sono un metodo piuttosto semplice per ottimizzare l’esperienza di raccolta unitamente al potenziamento del proprio personaggio.

Le Levequest del Botanist si suddividono in 4 macrocategorie, qui di seguito spiegate:

• Piety: le levequest contrassegnate da questa effige prevedono la raccolta di due alternative di oggetti in specifici nodi di raccolta, il cui numero viene segnalato all’avvio della missione. Ottenere oggetti con una percentuale di successo più bassa garantisce una valutazione maggiore ed un bonus più alto al completamento dell’obiettivo. Ha indubbiamente senso, in questo contesto, l’impiego di abilità che aumentano la percentuale di raccolta (ad esempio Field Mastery) con possibile concatenazione di Brunt Force quando la si acquisisce. Meglio dare sempre la precedenza all’oggetto più ‘difficile’ da collezionare in maniera da massimizzare sino a dove possibile la valutazione.

• Munificence: sicuramente le levequest più semplici. Nel tempo limite si rende necessario collezionare [n] x oggetti richiesti dai nodi di raccolta che compaiono sulla mappa. È possibile massimizzare le probabilità di ottenimento con Field Mastery o, ancora, velocizzare il processo attivando skill che aumentano i tentativi di raccolta e/o gli oggetti ottenibili (GP permettendo).

• Candor: una tipologia di Levequest ragionevolmente complessa, se non si calibrano bene i limiti dei nodi di raccolta ed il numero di oggetti ottenuti. Quando, infatti, i nodi di raccolta si esauriscono e non si ottengono gli oggetti richiesti, la levequest fallisce e si rende necessario ricominciarla. Considerate pertanto la variabile della ‘fortuna’ quando accettate questo genere di missioni e, parimenti, abbracciate l’idea di abbandonare il compito, se vedete che siete lontani dalla quantità richiesta ed i nodi di raccolta stanno finendo.

• Benevolence: anche in questo caso si rende necessario interagire coi nodi di raccolta segnalati e collezionare alternative di oggetti. Alcuni di essi presentano un coefficiente di valutazione maggiore rispetto ad altri tenendo presente che spesso l’oggetto più difficile da ottenere (quello con la percentuale più bassa) garantisce un bonus numerico maggiore.
  Field Mastery/Brunt Force e qualunque abilità che aumenti i tentativi di raccolta, così come quelli di raddoppiare il numero di oggetti ottenibili, è ben accetta in questo senso.

Le primissime Levequest che può accogliere il vostro personaggio, anche e solo per superare il gap di punti esperienza che intercorre tra il livello 1 ed il livello 5 sono allocate nella Central Shroud, The Bannok.

Nota! Per sbloccare le levequest di una specifica area è necessario sbloccare la guildleve dedicata con il proprio Disciple of War/Magic. Non è inoltre possibile svolgere le levequest in party. Le levequest sono anche soggette ad un bonus che incrementa l’esperienza ottenuta ed i gil ricevuti in base a svariati fattori, tra i quali il tempo di completamento.
